If I were to choose which state is the most friendliest, it is without doubt nor hesitation that I would say Maine. Everywhere we go, we are greeted with friendliness and generousness. This has been mentioned several times here on this blog and this cannot be emphasized enough.

“Vacationland” is the word imprinted on Maine’s license plates. Bill Nye explained to the group that the friendliness is mainly coming from treating their tourists well (otherwise it’d be a lost revenue).

Speaking of friendliness and generousness, Bill Nye and his wife gave our chefs their home-grown herbs (sage, lemon thyme, silver edge thyme, wood thyme, savory, parsley, tarragon, rosemary, spearmints and sorrel). Most of them have already been used in our food and this is definitely rewarding!
